i have never been this ill. started getting a sore throat before we left for north carolina last tuesday. drove for several days. got there on friday and didn't feel too good.

my throat kept getting more sore every day. we left monday. by this time i was starting to cough. on tuesday and wednesay i was really sick. temperature almost 101, coughing up green mucous, short of breath, chest is so very sore. i can't talk without coughing. can't sleep because of it either.

got some decongestant on the way. i had to drive alot because hubbie tore his retina. oh great, he had to have eye surgery in north carolina.

the trip was miserable. she had these air fresheners in every outlet. a cinnamon pumpkin odor. the house literally leaked of it. as soon as you opened the front door i wanted to gag. whether or not this set me off i can't say.

i will say this has been the most stressful trip i've taken in years. i told him i never ever was going again, period. kick me to the curb, divorce me whatever, but i ain't going, period.

i'm tired,, run down from no sleep, stressed to the max, coughing my bloody head off, heart palps, ear pain so bad i can barely bend over. face, eyes, everything from boobs up is kiling me.

my temp ranges from 99 to 101. i coughed so hard i lost control of my bowels. how embarassing...

is this just sinus infection, flu, strep or what? i cannot do any more abx, i just can't.

i just want to hide in my house and be left alone.

man i feel bad.

Sounds like a virus that's been going around my area since the spring.

I had it in early June and was really sick for two weeks--never coughed so hard in my life.

That being said, I know a couple of people who had it go into pneumonia, so you might want to get checked out by a doctor.

Very sorry to hear that you are so ill. Get lots of rest and push fluids. You know the routine. If you can't do abx, consider echinacea or goldenseal.. get something to help.

I HATE THOSE THINGS!!!! They are like breathing poison. When we go to my brother's house to stay, we have to remove the one in the bedroom where we sleep. Husband gets asthma real quick from those things!

get this. i just opened my mail. it was a bill from my doctor with a note saying "your insurance has been cancelled. you owe us blah blah blah..."

oh i don't need this.

i just want to curl up in a ball and cry.

i'm ordering some immune support. i was told not to take cough suppressant since it's green stuff coming up.

is there any over the counter stuff i can take?

wahhhhh....

I use Cumanda for those kind of infections. If it is viral it won't help, but there is plenty of bacterial crap going around also.
