I think I've read this is from Bart maybe?...anyway, I have less fatigue that before, (been on Doxy for a year was on Mepron/Zith for 8 months)...I attempt to run, but my shins, ankles and knees hurt...mostly the shins though (inner shins are very sensitive) Just wondering if anyone else has had this.

Yes, I have had it, although not to the extent that you describe.
I really noticed it when I was taking something for Babesia, although I agree with you, most tend to think it is more of a Bartonella type of manifestation.
So hard to tell though since there seems often to be a bleed over with symptoms, if you follow me.

Sometimes I think Lyme &co finds a spot and settles in-maybe different for each person.
My knees feel like I did not make my loan shark payment and fifty baseball bats had a field day....kind of a pun, huh?
Now I am sounding like James, oh my.
Lyme just doesn't make sense most of the time, IMHO

I agree Dogsandcats. It makes no sense at all, and that is so indicative in why no one can seem to find a set pattern one size fits approach to each of these infections and they way to treat them. At least to date. Here's hoping that won't always be the case and things will shift dramatically in that spectrum in the near future.

I always thought it was bartonella. Bart quintana or trench fever has symptoms of painful shins. But the last LLMD I saw said it could also be ehrlichia.
