I feel like I need to urinate all the time and I am constipated. Believe it or not I went on a vegetable/fruit diet for five days and it got worse! It is very irritating.
I thought it might be a wierd side effect to LDN so lowered the dose way down and then quit it two days ago. No improvement.
Although Bactrim is supposed to help urinary infections, I did not take it today to see if this would go away. I have not had pain or burning like a real infection.
In addition I have had swelling below my eyes. When I took 3 mg of LDN I felt groggy, had a dull headache every afternoon and sometimes my eyes ached.
I have not been constipated since I first began treatment 4 years ago and my whole system just shut down. I have had bladder pain and irritation with bartonella. My irritated eyes have always been the lingering symptom that does not go away.
Maybe LDN caused a bad herx? Has anyone ever had eye swelling?
What about Candida?
Any ideas?

Were you eating citrus? That can irritate the bladder. Candida CAN cause constipation in some. And the fruit could have led you down the wrong path. Does that to me. (candida)

I have been eating a lot of apples because our apple trees ripened. Do you think that might be it? It is mainly McIntosh - tart.

i don't know about the meds your are on. When I took Chlorestrimine, it made my bladder (IC) flare up. It felt like is was in spasms.
It took 1-2 weeks to get it to settle down.
Hope yours feels better soon.

Thanks, it is better today. I am off everything, waiting for the PE-1 to show up.
I did eat a LOT of apples. 16 trees! We have apples everywhere and I felt it necessary to eat a few of them. Apple cider, apple butter, apple crisp. . . .
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but ten of them might be a little too much.

I thought absorbic acid had diuretic properties. Sounds like it's all the fruit.
Bart keeps one near the bathroom too.

Irritated bladder from toxins. It goes away. I used to get this.
Think Borrelia too - It loves the bladder
