Does anyone here know anything about natural/holistic treatment for lyme? Alpha-lipoid acid, oral nutritional support, Aerophytotherapy (a therapy that uses essential oils) in partnership with Dr. Ivanov, plus others that I can't remember. Are they effective for treating Lyme? I was on antibiotics (oral and 2 months of IV) for many years, I'm tired of shoving pills down my throat that seem don't seem to do much but destroy my stomach. At this point Im willing to try anything to kick this disease but I don't want to spend thousands on treatments that won't work! One more thing, has anyone had any success in using Colloidal Silver for treating Lyme? Any help I can get will be very much appreciated.

- When considering herbal / nutritional / adjunct methods, because lyme is so very complex & unique, as are possible coinfections:
if at all possible - because each person & each case is different - it's best to consult with an ILADS-educated LL ND (lyme literate naturopathic doctor) (or similar) who has completed four years of post-graduate medical education in the field of herbal and nutritional medicine -
- and someone who is current with ILADS' research & presentations, past and present, and has completed the ILADS Physician Training Program (see: www.ilads.org )
so they really know all they can about the science of lyme . . . how lyme (& other TBD) act and what we can do about that in various ways. Proper ASSESSMENT of not just lyme but coinfectoins is vital. Someone trained by ILADS is best to assess.
Many LL NDs incorporate antibiotics (depending upon the licensing laws in their state). Some LLMDs and LL NDs have good working relationships.
When possible, it's great to have both a LLMD and LL ND and even better when they have a long-standing professional relationship.
Herbal Safety considerations & reference books; etc.
Links to many articles and books by holistic-minded LL doctors of various degrees who all have this basic approach in common:
Understanding of the importance of addressing the infection(s) fully head-on with specific measures from all corners of medicine;
knowing which supplements have direct impact, which are only support and which are both.

BODY WORK methods / links (and why anyone who works on your spine MUST be LL to the degree they at least know to never suddenly twist neck or spine. Never. Ever. And that we should never be advised to do neck / head / shoulder stands.)

- Colloidal silver was very helpful to me at one point. It kept me out of a wheelchair, actually. But it was not enough. Just be sure the source - and the source of water used - is excellent. Be very certain of your source, it matters.
I hope the various links, article, books in the set of is of help.

This list in the above link does not include mild hyperbaric oxygen which many here have said is very successful-- nor does it include MMS, which is similar to oxygen. This woman in the link below, a PhD, provides medical evidence to show that MMS cured her Lyme disease here:
Sadly the man who sold the ingredients to make MMS (Daniel Smith) is now in jail--- after having helped to cure thousands of people of many different diseases with MMS. He was fraudulently jailed by the FDA-- for selling the completely legal ingredients to make MMS-- which has never killed anyone-- and has in fact cured hundreds of thousands of malaria and many other pathogens.
