I'm on Tripple IV abx now: Rocephin, Z-max, and now Flagyl.
No more need for coffee enemas as I'm having loose stools every morning now and sometime during the day.
I'm eating bulky food, so I guess it's just the abx. It's not diarrhea, so not sure if I should take some imodium or not.
Any other ideas, or is this a good thing to clear the bowels ?

You may want to read up on the subject of parasites.
Take care.

I KNOW you are doing probiotics, right??
You might want to add some kefir to your diet.

Are you having trouble making it to the bathroom? If you are having incontinence issues, you may want to notify your doctor.
If the stools are just loose and you make it to the bathroom fine, no abd cramping or pain, no other symptoms, I'd say don't worry about it.
Constipating foods are generally ones that we avoid. Like white breads, crackers, and pasta's. Bananas might be a good option to try, they are notoriously constipating but are packed with good vitamins and nutrients.
I'd avoid the immodium. It's simply unnecessary.

Making it the bathroom just fine... Plenty of probiotics.
I guess it's just the abx. 3 on board and Mepron coming next with Art. Lovely.., but it's working

Hey Gary!
Make sure you are on the Florastor and maybe give the coffee enemas a month long rest to let your GI flora recover. I would up the probiotics!

Rice is good to eat. Bananas (as someone mentioned). Peeled apples - not the skin. The skin does the opposite. Some of the things people use for fiber like psylium seeds may help. They make a kind of gel in the intestines.
If I eat meat or chicken it seems to compact my bowel movements rather than vegetable materials which have alot of fiber.

Trufiber helps. It is a bulking fiber made by the same folks as Theralac and works well with it to actually encourage probiotic growth while bulking up your bowels.
