My son has two patches of this rash that looks like a bruise or something. I have had this many times before on my upper arm, too.
I was just curious if this is lyme or co-infection related because we both have lyme. It always shows up mysteriously.
Thanks.

Yikes! I am sorry, but this looks like Lyme or Bart to me. I have had lots of odd rashes, some similar to this one and I attribute them to Bart.
I have been diagnosed with Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia. It is my understanding that all three of these TBD's can cause skin problems.

My son has this same type rash on his hand between the thumb and index finger. It just popped up on Saturday. Ever since we added Heparin (anticoagulant therapy), he is having all kinds of new symptoms. This rash and pimple like marks (moluscum) on his face.
Anyone else see this kind of rash/bruise?

I saw a bulls eye rash 2 weeks ago that was similar in color to this, but not shape. Looks like blood under the skin.

The llmd that diagnosed my son said that rashes that look like bruising are consistent with lyme.
His looked like bruises.

Rashes are very common with Lyme and co's. Any type of rash can be symptoms of Lyme, they took many different shapes.
Rashes are also very common when one is going through a herx.
