What do people think of Dr. E in NJ these days? How about Dr. S in NJ?
Dr. E started me on Pinnella & Burber and a Parasite cleanse and then a week later added something that is mostly Cat's Claw. She tested me for mycoplasma because of my cough (of course my Internist (who doesn't believe in Chronic Lyme) sent me for an X-ray and since it was ok she said it was very unlikely that I had mycoplasma)

What do you think of what Dr. E is doing? Dr. S doesn't talk much and the visits are so short - I don't know if he's taking the whole picture into consideration and doesn't follow Burascano's protocol, and he doesn't explain. He wanted me to take Clindamycin.

At least I'm doing something but no antibiotics yet.

I guess I wonder if I have Lyme pr if my psychiatrist is right and I'm tired from anxiety and depression.

After I twisted his arm, Dr. S tested me for two things. I tested positive for Lyme on the IGG from IgeneX for both the CDC and IgeneX that I had to twist Dr. S's arm to take and what I don't understand is why I didn't test positive on the IGM - I did for the Igenex but not the CDC.

I think that's the past infection part and I had 3 years of treatment. I don't make antibodies well - my Immune tests are low.

I guess I want to know what people think of Dr. E and Dr. S and Dr. V and what about killing off the parasites first before starting treating an active infections. She said that the current thinking was to do that.

Also, can the Pinnella, Burber, PARASITE and Cat's Claw make one feel badly?

Sorry to run on

You wonder: "guess I wonder if I have Lyme pr if my psychiatrist is right and I'm tired from anxiety and depression."

and "tested positive for Lyme on the IGG from IgeneX for both the CDC and IgeneX"

you "don't understand is why [you] didn't test positive on the IGM - did for the Igenex but not the CDC."

(end quotes)

Sure looks like you have lyme. The various tests and your symptoms are very clear.

The CDC criteria is not correct and leaves out many who have active lyme and chronic lyme. Do not count on the CDC Criteria.

You are not "tired from anxiety and depression"

You are tired from an infection that CAUSES anxiety and depression.

You are also likely very tired of idiot doctors. Find an ILADS-educated LLMD - and an ILADS-educated psychiatrist or psychologist - or therapist. That other one will only bring you harm in his ignorance.

Glad to see that you are looking at options for LLMDs. Good luck.
