1 1/2 years into treatment and I feel very good except my hamstrings are so tight and calf muscles are a bit achy. All joint pain is gone. Currently treating with zith and bactrim. Is it die off, the abx, something else?

Some stiffness in back but not bad. So you are saying this is possibly not lyme related?

I have that too. I do yoga all the time and I am flexible, so I don't think it's due to tight muscles. I had it before too and it went away and now it's back. I am starting to wonder if it's a virus.

I'm having back surgery 11/7 due to an 30yr old injury. My neurosurgeon said those with my problem have tight hamstrings.
Mine get so tight I walk like a tin soldier.
Have you had an injury to you Lower back that Lyme may have execerbated?

Hi DMC - no surgeries ever. Sometimes the hamstrings feel like the blood flow is not very good. That's why I was thinking that maybe the abx are causing some coagulation issues.
