Hi,

I was wondering how many of you here have Babs, have 24/7 abdominal distention (worse after eating), and have seen relieve from that with Mepron and Zithro. Also, excessive (non-stop) hunger.

Thanks,
Kania

Are you talking about "air" hunger ? That is much different from excessive (non-stop) hunger.
With Babs we have trouble getting air into our lungs or taking deep breaths. I do not think Babs is wanting to eat all of the time.

24/7 abdominal distention sounds like intestinal yeast to me. That was the sign I always got when I got a yeast infection.

It could easily get worse after eating if you are eating things that feed yeast like sugar and other carbs.

Ask your doctor for a diflucan prescription. If it works, you have your diagnosis.

And, look at your tongue when you first wake up before eating or drinking. If it has a white coating, that is yeast.

TF - I only eat meat, fat, bone broth, and egg yolks. Started that in 2009 and before then the same plus veggies. Yes, yeast could be an issue.

fflutterby - no it's not air hunger and it could be caused by something else of course. It's a constant, gnawing, growling feeling in my stomach that you get when you are hungry. So I eat and it's still there. I have eaten to the point of feeling physically uncomfortable from the distention and still felt that gnawing hunger. I am thinking parasites or like TF said, yeast.
