My LLMD now proposed Azithromycin intravenous (5 days per week of 500 mg 'Zithromax' iv.). Now I am wondering: has anyone here ever tried that? I could not find any patient here in Germany who did.
Then, I came across the fact that Azi can well be combined with Ceftriaxone in pneumonia. I never ever heard about that combination in Lyme therapy. But it makes me very curious, because Ceftriaxone always helps me a lot, but (of course) it never stays well for a long time. Has anyone ever tried that combination?
Best regards & greetings from Germany, Guido

My son had Zithromax and Rocephin IV. I think it is a fairly common pairing.
