I am having a hard time getting through this week. The dizziness and strange feelings are affecting me at work. I am at 6 weeks 1 tsp. I cannot tolerate this. Should I stop for a few days or just back down. Or stop for a few days and start back up at 1/2 doses?

My head and back are killing me, I am hot and my vision is worsening. I am really scared...Please help

What does your doctor say?
I am on mepron full dose now. I have some symptoms but not as bad as yours.
I hope you get answers soon.

Things are never dull. After 3 fighting Lyme, 2 are in remission. Youngest is still sick, age 22. He has new diagnosed Chiari Malformation and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

How long have you been on, I handled it ok in the beginning weeks but this week is rough. My doctor told me two weeks ago to cut my dose in half because I thought it was tolerable.

Try to tough it out. I felt the worse betweeen weeks 4 thru 9. Head pressure, shoulders locked up, and deep bone pain in arms and legs. Felt like I got run over by a truck.

Around weeks 10 and 11 I started to feel a lot better.

Fflutterby,

I got your PM but your mailbox was too full and I could not reply.

Some LLMDs will actually pulse Mepron three weeks on and one week off, with Zith used continuous. So a short break should not hurt. Check out this link.

Good luck with work.

flutterby, Babs herxes can be tough for some. I have had some doozies. Some people herx every three weeks or so. Since you have been taking the meds for six weeks, you could be herxing.

I think it is good to let your doctor know how you are feeling and to see if you should take a break.

I had asked my Dr if it was ok to take a break if I needed to, he said Yes. He also wanted me to cut my dose in 1/2. Shoulda listened to him. I am feeling a little better today.

gmb, Yess !!! My back and shoulders felt like I was beat up. I really wanted to push through but I chickened out [Frown] Hopefully wont be so bad when I restart.

Not much relief. Heart pounding, head pressure dizziness. Never went away. I wonder if Mepron can stay in your system that long ???! 6 days ? Scared to start back up [Frown] Maybe this isnt even babs doing this ?
