I received a borderline Lyme diagnoses from an LLMD a couple of years ago and then saw one who felt we should concentrate on my very high Lead test results. I also had an extremely high C 4 count a year and a half ago. anyway I have had pneumonia for a couple of weeks after starting DMSA though my wife was very sick just before this with a bug hat gave her a couple of weeks of bronchitis. My pneumonia has been moderate, but I have had severely stuffed ears for over a week now and my hearing is way off. Last night I took an herbal sleep aid and some vicodin to get to sleep since it seems the only way for me to get to sleep is to use xanax and I am trying to wesn myself off it I would say that the insomnia that has followed me through my pneumonia experience seems atypical since I do not have any symptoms that, on their own, seem to be worthy of insomnia. In other words, I do not have a cough, headaches, or any discomfort, which would cause insomonia, it seems that I just cannot turn off. I guess it could be driven by anxiety, but again it would have to be a type below my ability to recognize it as such.
So last night while using vicodin and the herbal sleep aid I had some pretty weird hours of I guess what you would call a mild neurological incident. I had myaclonis and hyperaccusia to moderate degree and I also had just really weird thoughts and visions when I closed my eyes. I should add that I have had a history in the last ten years with symptoms such as these, sans the weird thoughts and visions, along with tinnitus, eye fluttering, some parasthesia and a host of other elusive symptoms. Though in general I have good energy exercise a lot and work nearly 50 hours a week at physical jobs.
So I am not sure I have real question for anyone. I do have some concerns that whatever neurological weirdness I have has left me vulnerable to having whatever pneumonia bug i have being able to infect my CNS. I am also curious as to whether it is possible to be highly toxic in terms of metals and Lyme and such, and to still be as relatively healthy as I have been.
Anyway sorry this is long, but I do try to tell my stories here so that it might have resonance with others.
Best to all
Matt

Well tonight when I sat down to go to bed I could immediately fell a kind of hyper stimulated nervous system again. I start to get pins and needles which I know is a sign of hyperventilation and I also get the feeling of hyperaccusia or that whole body is ready to twitch. I took a xanax and am way better, but I have not had any anxiety attacks for years and this seems more likely a herx reaction of some sort more than anything else. My present LLMD had discounted Lyme but had been in search of something with my high C-4 so it does seem likely that I have a bug of some sort which has finally reacted to the Levaquin for the pnuemonia. I stopped my course of Levaquin last night and that is probably for the best until my LLMD has a chance to consider what is happening

Check out lungworm, Varestrongylus klapowi, which is a problem for many. Parasites can cause strange symptoms. I posted about it several times. Maybe look up parasite symptoms, etc. You may be surprised.
