I have been on IV rocephin since July, along with flagyl. Have made the most progress on this combination compared to any other protocol. Since about February of 2011 have been on meds such as doxy, zithromax, ceftin, mepron, and flagyl. Flagyl was the first oral antibiotic that really seemed to push me forward. Once adding the IV with flagyl, I really started to feel better.
Anyways, my lyme doctor switched up the flagyl, since I had been on it for a long time, and wants to be sure my liver stays in good shape. I am continuing rocephin only, because I absolutely under no circumstances can tolerate biaxin. (Have had horrible experiences with most macrolide antibiotics.)
Any idea why my legs have been feeling achy again? I don't feel like I'm getting worse, but I don't feel as good as I have been feeling....
