So, I was just curious if Flagyl is affective against all the claims.
The drug sheet says it kills protozoa (meaning Babesia?) and bacteria. Does this mean all bacteria? Cysts, lyme and bartonella ect? It's also used to kill parasites.
Sounds like it hits almost everything. Is Flagyl considered treatment for Babesia and parasites? I'm a little confused, because if it does this much then why is it used at the end of treatment for many?

Personally I do think flagyl does work on babesia, but only when used in combo with other babs meds.
Otherwise agree with LymeToo.
Also need to be aware that flagyl can cause candida issues and also peripheral neuropathy.

Thanks much. Im taking it now for H.Pylori and heard it hits babs and everything else. I'd imagine if it works on cyst forms of lyme it would also work on the other forms of lyme. It is an antibiotic, not just a cyst buster.
Im already feeling candida issues after a few days though. I will be pulsing it later but currently take if every day for H. Pylori.
