I started LDN about 3.5 weeks ago at 1.5 mg at bedtime. It was very disturbing to my sleep but I stuck with it. I was also very tired.
Two weeks into it I went up to 3 mg. The sleep got worse and I realized my thyroid was functioning better so lowered my armour.

Problem is I got over zealous and decided to take Malarone and Mepron together. I had bad stomach cramps so quit after about 3 days. On the 19th I posted I felt so good I thought I might be able to quit abx soon.

Then things began to happen so I dropped the dose back to 1.5 mg. I have had tingling sensations on the left side of my body and later in the day muscle pain. One morning I had a strong hot flash with sweating. Yesterday I woke up very dizzy and felt tired with muscle pain most of the day. I am also getting headaches with nausea in the evening (imetrex gets rid of it).

So is the LDN chasing something out? I have not had muscle pain in two years. The babesia symptoms were completely gone except for lack of stamina and dry eyes so it is alarming that it is coming back unless it is a residual herx. The tingling is very strange and wonder what might cause it.

THe majority of your symptoms sound like Babesiosis to me. How long have you been taking Babs meds?

I have been treating since last December. Most of my symptoms seem like a babesia herx - I hope that is what it is, from the LDN - but I am not sure because of the tingling. Is that babesia?

I also have had some swelling below my eyes and I feel groggy I was feeling much better. I posted on the 19th of this month that I thought I might be able to quit abx soon. Now just 4 days later, I am sick again.

I wonder if this might be bart coming out or borellia. My legs have been hurting today and now it is concentrated in my shins. I am not taking anything that addresses this infections. I am so worn out from all of this. There seems to be no end.

The aches are pretty standard for LDN. I had them also and my naturopath said it is normal.

I am not saying it is not a herx, just saying many people get the cramps and some don't have lyme or co's.

Hope you get better.. my sleep and the aches were very bad also on just 1.5grams.

I haven't heard anything about muscle aches and pains, but do you have Hashimoto's with/ or hypothyroidism? When you lowered your Armour, you developed symptoms? Some of the things you mentioned are also thyroid dysfunction symptoms.

Also, LDN regulates the immune system and many people see their CD-57 (killer cells) rise. It's possible that LDN is jump starting your immune system and you are fighting Babs on your own.

There's a precaution about Hashimotos's with Hypo on the LDN web page. I hope you figure it out.
