Do you have POTS? Where you stand and your heart races because your blood pressure drops? I have had some form of dysautonomia and it has gotten much better from treating. So, yes, I believe it will improve if not go fully away. In fact, I expect it to go completely away. The key is to treat and be as active as possible.

Yes-I had severe POTs and it went away completely.

Unfortunately, my babesia was undertreated, I relpased and it's back-butmuch more mild this time

Meanwhile..remember to drink a lot, increase your salt and try gentle strengthening to your legs.

It will get better

I am sure glad someone posted on this subject. Many years ago I had a tilt table test and failed. I was told I had Neurally meduated hypertenstion.

To bad I didn't know it was lyme/co-infections. I'm relieved to know this will improve with treatment.

My son has POTS and it is expected that some day he will be off of those meds and regulating things normally again. The cardiologist in my opinion should have done more bacteria testing as a cause of POTS. They just treat and treat. On one website called dinet.org, there is a small blurb about Lyme disease causing POTS. I missed that 4 years ago. It would have saved a lot of grief!! Of course, it never would have been tested correctly anyway.

I hope more post in with good news.

Things are never dull. After 3 fighting Lyme, 2 are in remission. Youngest is still sick, age 22. He has new diagnosed Chiari Malformation and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
