NO question abx will zap your energy... especially in the beginning. You will probably adjust after a while. I would say the first 6 weeks are very rough.
Rifampin is very strong many people choose to ramp up slowly with this one.

Yes, it does happen. Even after almost 9 months treating, I am careful how I schedule my day because about an hour after taking abx I am worthless for a couple hours, sometimes falling asleep involuntarily. A short nap can help me function again. In the beginning it was much, much worse.
-------------------- ------------ It took 20 years to find out I'm not crazy. New bite in 2010 pushed my body over the edge. Positive for lyme, babs, bart, and myco. I am not a doctor and happily offer only my own opinions. Posts: 357 | From The Beach | Registered: Feb 2011

I'm on Mino and for about 1 or 2 hours after taking it feel tired, blood pressure does weird things, my neuro issues get worse. It's not fun.

Is this normal?
If you're taking three , including Mepron can all have a reaction of their own and wipe you out for hours and hours.
