After months off antibiotics, my LLMD has told me that I may well be dealing with the bart/babesia dance. I'll soon be taking mepron and if I'm not well in a month or so, I have the option of adding rifampin and so attack both of the coinfections at the same time.
Has anyone tried this approach and has it worked? Hard to forget how unpleasant mepron was the first time around and I'm wondering whether I can cope with both at once.

You are not supposed to take Rifampin and Mepron together because Rifampin lowers the Mepron levels. Meaning you wont be absorbing the amount of Mepron you need and would probably be useless.
I think you can take Malarone instead but Im not sure.
