I would definitely stop the medication and call your doctor.

Are you taking the Rifampin on an empty stomach, because you may need to be taking it with food.

Rifampin needs to be taken on empty stomach.

The Doxy or Zithro that you take with it needs to be taken with food (maybe an hour after Rifampin dose)

Rifampin CAN be taken with food if needed although empty stomach is best.

Taking it with food reduces it's viability by up to 30%. You should call your dr - vomiting isn't good. Although, fwiw, any time I began a new antibiotic it cause lots of stomache rumbling and often the big D.

Rifampin says to take it on an empty stomach. I'm on 150 and don't know if i'll get upto 300. It says empty, but if it would help, take it with food. Its a toxic drug, maybe its just too hard to handle (for me too). Good luck, feel good and call your doc.
