I was wondering if anyone here has had this. I had this headache and neckache for 2 months straight , all day, everyday. I'm going for an mri and xrays tomorrow. Had xrays earlier and showed nothing. doctor from spine center thinks its just your normal wear and tear ,degenerative disk disease. headache is back of scalp area.

I don't have it all the time ,but my neck gets weak and I have to rest head. Sometimes I get a vice-grip squeeze at the base of head, top of neck and lower spine. This has happened several times.. Almost afraid to mo until it passes.

I hope all goes well, and don't start glowing in the dark....
That's about how many radiation type diagnostic procedures they did.

Not really but that is what the doctor who told me to "just get out and thrive" said to me.,as my head hung down, fever, pain, and all the rest..

Like as if I haven't tried to move past this, force myself, and felt like crap cause I couldn't.

Anyway so many people here talk about different Co-infection's doing different things.....

Take care, Nonna

What a pearl of wisdom "just get out an thrive". Kind of sounds like my Dr telling me to just try to "ignore my fevers". Last year, when I was too weak to go on, my Dr told me I needed to "put on my caregiver hat and stop trying to hide out in a hospital".

Anyway, I had the same type of neck and head pain. I noticed it would flare up most when my temp was highest and I felt like I could collapse at any moment. Whatever the cause, the antibiotics I now take for Lyme & co made it go away.
