I'm in my second month of treatment, and have been gobsmacked by the range of new symptoms I've experienced in that time. It's exactly as you all said it would be, as you go through killing different bugs, new symptoms arise, ones I've heard about but never experienced.
The reason for the question is that although I've searched and found some info about foot issues, I haven't found exactly what I'm experiencing, and so of course I'm wondering if this is regular herx stuff, or if it might be some sign of toxicity or issues from all the drugs. (I'm on Nystatin, Plaquenil, Biaxin and Doxy right now.)
What I've been having is a strange buzzing/tingling/stinging sensation in my feet that radiates up my legs when I'm still. It almost gives the feeling of numbness, but when I move my legs or feet, or walk around, it stops. Almost like I've been walking for miles and miles but I haven't. When I'm walking, it feels more like my legs and feet are swollen, but when I look, they're fine. I don't get it first thing in the morning (well, a few steps of stinging, but that's nothing new), more when I walk around and then stop.
Again, if its a bart herx or whatever (which I suspect), then that's fine, but if anyone thinks this could be neuropathy from the drugs, that would be great to know before I go bug my LLMD.
Thanks!
