Anyone else do these? They're about 150.00 a pop and only last a couple days. But they are worth it. Anyone else have this experience?

Are they doing any long term good? It's a lot of money for me and I don't want to be doing it just for a day or two of feeling ok as opposed to crap.

B12 probably .. much cheaper to just give yourself the shots.

Yes, I have experienced this too. For me it's largely the high dose C, but I'm sure the whole cocktail helps.

I give myself B12 shots 2-3X per week ...

I also get Meyer's cocktails from my doctor (but mine aren't that expensive!)

For me I think it's a combination of the high dose C, B's and they add glutathione in mine....

At first they made me feel terrible... but now they help quite a bit...

They seem to help me with detoxing.

Fourwinds,
How many IV's did you get before they started making you feel better?

So far my husband doesn't feel better after the IV's.

He is already taking high amount of vitamin C. Also supplements magnesium & b complex.

Gosh, I expect they are making you function a bit better and if done regularly enough could make you better able to handle treatment that you will ultimately need to get better. Or if you are also doing treatment, by functioning better they are perhaps making the treatment just a bit more effective.

This kind of thing can be helpful, and for those very poor off healthwise, perhaps would be a critical first step.

Not sure where you are in your situation, so trying to be a bit general and perhaps one or two thoughts will be right for your situation.

How much have you tried oral supplements? I did a few vitamin/mineral IV's and they were nice, but I found for the most part I was able to achieve a lot of this same kind of thing from oral supplements.

Ask your Dr for a prescription for B12 shots.

@MannaMe... I started Myer's Cocktails about 4 years ago and it took me at least 2 or 3 before I started to feel better with them.

Mine included a separate "glutathione push" which was to be incrementally increased each session --

I had to increase the amount slowly as the glutathione seemed to be what gave me huge die off...

I will have my first IV from Dr. N when I see him in Jan... not sure if his "cocktail" ingredients are the same... so will be interesting to see how I feel after his mix.

This is suppose to be the "standard" mix:

Its best not to mix anything with the vitaminC in the IV as there can be mixed results. Most supplements can be taken orally or by injection. So much cheaper.
But vitamine C is best taken by infusion as it is only by this way a truly therapeutical dose is possible. Pure vitamin C solutions without additions have been shown to work very well.
