hi everyone...ive been on rifampin and doxy for 5 weeks now. my neuro symptoms are worse but follow no pattern, so llmd thinks its not a herx. if rif does nothing, should i question bart diagnosis? thanks

5 weeks is not long enough to make an assesment. Even 5 weeks of I.V. abxs is too soon to tell.

Give it alittle longer then talk to your llmd.

Most people I know & my llmd too did it for 5 months.

Did 2 mos. got worse but oldnt take feeling like this. Didn't know herx or toxic to me. I'm asking next week for ceftin, zithro. Thatvwas my maintenance for 6 yers, want o see if it helps. Lymeand Bart. Don't know Iv again. In deep this time. There's other bar Meds, maybe rif is just not it. If u can tolerate he neuro, stay.
