Soooo...I've been very well for almost 2 years since treating lyme and co. Just before the holidays I began to not feel right(painful swollen glands first, then dizziness, headaches, eye pain, fatigue, joint and tendon pain etc... still have all these symptoms 2 months later.

My PCP did a Western Blot for me and only IgM Band 23 came back positive (labcorp) rest of my labs were normal. Relapse? What should I make of this?

My gut tells me it's a relapse, unfortnately. In the meantime, we are ruling everything else out first but I am trying to decide whether to schedule an appt with my LLMD...ugh, I hate this disease....

I don't put any faith in tests for relapse. Sorry. I say our bodies are our best detectives and a wise and educated doctor our best guide.

Of course, consider all else but don't rule lyme out because of a test.

THIS test is different, though. Shows promise for those in the middle of a "relapse" question:

One Dr. said if you have band 23 you have lyme.
I don't recall his name.
I have band 23 and 41 from Mayo clinic and 10 bands from IGENEX.

I don't bother testing anymore.
Like Keebler said listen to your body.

I know 23 is very specific to lyme for sure, I just presented differently this time so I worry about other causes like cancer or auto immune stuff. Swollen glands scare the crap out of me, so I am back to running bloodwork, doing ultrsounds and ct scans again like a crazy person, it sucks. At least my PCP is pretty cool, she is very open to running all the preliminary tests to rule other stuff out.
