So, I was recently tested for celiac disease. I am in the process of ruling out and looking for a diagnosis with my doctor. I had several test done and wanted to know if they would also apply to lyme testing. I read that IgG was a test for lymes.

- TuTu is correct in that IgG, IgM, IgA are measures used in many different tests.
While celiac can be genetic, it can be latent until a stessor . . . can be also caused by various infections.
Many with lyme have variations of celiac or gluten intolerance. So much so that most LLMDs strong suggest their patients be gluten free.
As TuTu mentions, celiac tests are often not reliable.
They were not for me, anyway. A genetic test, though, was a clear "Bingo" in my case.

The Igenex link she posted is excellent and a place to begin. There is also now a better test (but more expensive) that has the lyme community very excited.
