I've been sick this week. Started an amalgam thread the last few days. I was just starting to feel better and the today I got a urinary tract infection. No worries... I went to urgent care got some of the orange pee pain meds and an abx (macrobid?)

Before I could even take an abx I started having serious gas pain followed by some diahrrea.

But now... Hours later (like 5 at least) my intestines are knockin around like there is a UFC fight going on in there.

I feel better when laying down. When I stand up I feel so bloated that I actually have lung pain. I can't stand up straight.

When laying down my tummy still makes noise. It feels like I could go to the bathroom (#2) by when I get up to go, nothing comes out. Not even gas.

This is soooo uncomfortable

I've had diahrrea for two days.

I'm trying to stay loaded on cranberry juice an water, but I feel so FULL. Like I will explode if I try to drink more.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure tomorrow or the next day I'll have my period. Did I mention I'm supposed to be on vacation in San Diego? Yea. This week has been a nightmare :-/

UGGGGGG! So sorry you are having these problems, especially with a vacation in sight!!!

I can't tell you you shouldn't go to the ER. My bet is you don't want to go and you are hoping someone won't say to go. At least that is what I would be hoping. HA!

If you think you should go, please do. That said....

If it were me, I'd call the ER that gave you the meds and tell them you were already there and this is what is happening now.

You should be connected to a nurse or doctor for answers and this is reasonable (a call to them) since it is the middle of the night and they were the ones to treat you earlier.

But please do NOT hesitate to go according to, or based on anything I say or anyone else here says.

Most of all I hope you feel better soon!!!!

Cranberry juice is probably giving you YEAST. I would stop it ASAP and buy D-Mannose capsules. They do the same thing without the sugar.

hope that helps!!

If buying online, consider Swanson's brand. Good price and it works!

I have it to Fyre!! It is horrible. Unfortunately there may be more to come. I was vomiting all one night. Before and after that episode I had stomach cramps, indigestion and bloating.

Most people get over it in a couple of days but it has been weeks for me. I feel like I am pregnant with a rock. I wake up in the middle of the night with a burning stomach and have to take Gaviscon to settle it. I also had the frequent urination - got up six times in one night.

I SYMPATHIZE!! I hope you get over it soon. Stay away from acidic foods and get plenty of rest.

PS

If you do go to the doctor and he tells you anything helpful, please let me know.

YEAST .. I was in so much pain from it in Nov I thought I needed to go to the hospital. But no, it was "just" yeast. Could barely get off the couch for 3 days. No fever, no upset stomach, no fatigue, etc. No virus.

Thanks guys. Docs weren't helpful. The Macrobid was giving me lung pain. Switched to Cipro and doing better but still very ill unless eating immaculate diet.
