I just found this forum two days ago and I can't believe there are so many suffering. Does anyone's bite keep coming back? Even on two antibiotics, my bite comes back occasionally. I was bitten 7/4/10 and diagnose 11/9/11.

Hey Char De,

Welcome to LymeNet! Yes, the folks here have been through some tough times, bless their hearts. Sorry you have been "stuck" with Lyme too!

As for the bite coming back to bite you....

The bite spot can get inflamed, or stay that way even, long after the bite. I had one spot that flared for about 18 months.

I've also noted when herxing the spot would act up and be a bit red and sometimes slightly itchy.

Are you sure the tick was totally removed from the bite location?

If it has, this may just be a case of whatever. Sure hope so.

Hope soon you are feeling better!

[Big Grin]

Thank you so much for responding. I never saw a tick or a dark spot in the bite so I didn't think a tick could crawl inside you. Can a tick be inside me after 18 months?
