The toads are hopping all around AGAIN in their murky water, trying to prevent you from having a decent set of treatment guidelines to follow.
How would you like 5 more years of their garbage?

LYMEPOLICYWONK: Congressmen Call For Removal of Outdated IDSA Guidelines from National Guideline Clearinghouse
21 Jan
On January 17, 2012, Congressmen Smith, Wolf, and Gibson called on the National Guidelines Clearinghouse (NGC) to remove the IDSAs outdated Lyme guidelines.
We applaud them! But, this, of course, is the middle of the story not the beginning, so lets go back.

Oh, and thanks, especially to Lymedisease.org (formerly CALDA), LDA and the other groups for continuing their work behind the scenes to try to help all of us!

Hey, just wanted to let you know there's a huge response on facebook - people are tearing up the keys there about what they want from the IDSA, the IDSA is erasing posts, posts are being saved at another site - ha -

- Tincup,
This was posted just last night. Bet many have not even seen it yet.
Just because there are no replies does not mean your post is not well appreciated and read.
It's a lot of work to even form a sentence.
So often, I just don't have the energy to reply - or my hands won't work. My guess is that many read but are unable to post a "thanks" for the detail. -

I am so glad to hear some folks are paying attention. Thank you!
This is another attack on all of us and a disgrace to boot. People should be outraged!
I can't imagine anyone with Lyme not being blown away by the fact the IDSA wants to keep HORRIBLE, OUTDATED, LEGALLY CHALLENGED treatment guidelines out there to continue to be used against patients and for the benefit of insurers and themselves.
I can't believe the toads are that stupid that they would think they could get away with kicking us in the head again, and so all-fired full of themselves they think they are above the rules.
I still can't believe they can sleep at night watching so many lives being destroyed, but then I guess I just expect for people to automatically have good hearts and good work ethics and do things to help others, not harm them.
I've had time to get over the initial shock cause this problem has been worked on for months now. But I would think others would be seething over the news and posting up a storm.
I guess, to be honest, I still am seething! Can't help it when the toads are so stinking crur-A-zy!

Check out the new Burton Waisbren Lyme book - by one of the Founders of the IDSA, and he says chronic Lyme is real! A great weapon against the IDSA in general, I think.
