I have had about 3months break in treatment due to intestinal issues-yeast. I felt really good during those three months [Smile]

But, my symptoms are reappering. Headaches and vision are the worst symptoms at this point. But, everything else is coming back as well. So, I'm going back to the dr tomorrow, and I know that our plan is to put me back on abx.

He is willing to put me back on abx, as long as we monitor my intestinal issues. This dr is not lyme literate more lyme friendly. Treated for 8 months last time. He is the only one in my state that will take my insurance, and I'm broke. So, I have to work with him or have no one.

I'd like to be able to find some literature to bring with me in regards to Nystatin and Probiotics but more specifically DSL #3 DS.

He has always been willing to review information.. so Im hoping to get him on board with what i want. I know he won't put me on Diflucan. My insurance will cover the DSL #3DS, but it requires a prior authorization, So its a harder sell to the dr.

But he needs probiotic info. Last time before i discontinued treatment, he wanted to make sure I ate yogurt every day... thats his level of knowledge.

All is help is appreciated!!!

Why not just take Olive Leaf Extract to help prevent/address candida/yeast issues? It worked so much better for me than ANYTHING else, including nystatin, nizoril or diflucan. SO much better.

You might still want a prescription for an Rx, just in case but once I found OLE I never went back to any Rx antifungal.

PROBIOTICS are still necessary, but timed apart from both OLE and from ABX. Best to keep all three timed apart from each other.

Sorry, I can't address the specific probiotic but I hope others can.

Either Seagate or Myrolea-B are the only two kinds of OLE I suggest - other than perhaps a tincture form for mouth swishing. Herb Pharm is one good source for tinctures.

Do you mean VSL#3 DS?

I tried to search the DSL #3 DS you first wrote but could not find anything about that.

I would start here, share this with your doctor:
