Dear Friends,

I've been very impressed with the work Dr. F has done to isolate and culture the "Bartonella-like organism."

Just recently, working on a California initiative to get Genetically Modified Foods (GMOs) labeled in California, I came across this data that these foods actually induce a new type of pathogen!!

Here's a link to a video about this:

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/12/10/dr-don-huber-interview-part-1.aspx

I was wondering........are these the SAME bug??

Anyone have info on this??

How we could find out??

Love,

Cass A

Hey there. The organism spoken of here is likely a different one as the size is not correct, nor is the behavior - "It's not a fungus. It's not bacteria.

"It's not a mycoplasma or a virus it's about the same size of a small virus; you have to magnify it from 38 to 40,000 times. They have pictures of it You can see the interactions with it. They can now culture it. It's self-replicating and cultured. It doesn't grow very well by itself.

Like most of our very fastidious organisms, it tends to die out after three or four sub-culturing, but grows very well with other organisms. If you have yeast, bacteria, or a fungus in the culture, this entity grows very well. "

The BLO that I know of are much larger and visible adherent to erythrocytes, which are MUCH bigger than a "small virus". This is especially true for FL1953/Protomyxoa which is even larger, which makes sense as its a protozoa that has its own bacterial "groupies" (likely BLO and other organisms that adhere to erythrocytes), and thus doesn't need to have other organisms to grow due to fragility but actually serves as a "guard" for said "groupies".

The organism spoken of in the interview is different, most likely an agobacterium that is similar to a mycoplasma and with fungal characteristics, basically a former "plant only" infection that because of GMOs was able to cross kingdom, especially because of its fungal similarities. Some believe this may be the true cause of Morgelleon Syndrome, leading to the growth of the "filament" extrusions which are at least partially cellulose in nature from their plant-heritage, but that doesn't explain some of their stranger properties. That is just speculation, of course.

GMOs have certainly been shown to be detrimental to agriculture and the environment in many cases, directly and indirectly, and very well may be creating new pathogens, but at least as far as tick-borne pathogens are concerned its a very different organism than described.

I agree that these two are likely unrelated.

But the Mercola film is informative as to why anyone with a compromised immune function should be avoiding GMO foods at all costs. Not an easy feat, especially given that our Uncle Sam, in his infinite wisdom, refuses to label GMO foods. (The reason being, we would be shocked to learn how prevalent they are in the American Market.)

The Mercola antigen is a plant-produced systemic herbicide. And the increased use of it's genetic "companion" weed-killer, glyphosate, is relatively new to the world as well. Bee-keepers looked to the "new" herbicide glyphosate, and thought it could have been implicated in Colony Collapse Disorder - since bees that fed on organic crops seemed immune to CCD.

Buy Organic whenever possible. This means avoiding common box mixes, breads, salad dressings, cereals and prepared foods. Anything with soybean oil, soy flour or soy protein is 90% likely to be GMO.

GMO Corn has not yet been specifically approved for human consumption - however, that doesn't keep our USDA from allowing GMO corn to be fed to our livestock - since 90% of the corn grown in the U.S. is also GMO. RBH is GMO, so you might want to seek out dairies that pledge not to use Bovine Hormones in their herds.

When Europeans enforced labeling for GMO foods, they were shunned in the marketplace. Now they are being "force fed" to Americans, generally without our knowlege.

Read Jeffrey Smith's book "Seeds of Deception" to learn about the sordid history of "patenting life" and the possible ramifications for your family's health.

That interview on the Mercola site is shattering. My hair is standing on end.

I've always disliked Monsanto. Now I really hate them. Anyone who lives in CA should be signing that petition to label GMO foods. Once people have a choice, then things may change.

Dear Friends,

Thanks so very much for the clear replies!

I am actually working on the California ballot initiative to require foods containing GMOs to be labeled. The website for anyone who wants more data or would like to help is http://www.labelgmos.org

It is a true grass-roots effort, and can accept help from anyone, anywhere!

Love,

Cass A
