I havent been treating at all lately except for some immune boosting herbs and LDN. I was doing the Borrelia Series last year until Sept but had to quit that and a few other things because of $$.

Finally went to the llmd and I got my next round of Borrelia series. Also, llmd wants me to take something called Interfase? Suppose to break down biofilms from what I understand.

He also is going to have me on an herbal plan where I take Oil of Oregano tablets and Wormwood caps for one month and then switch to 2 more different herbs for a month and then 2 more diff herbs for a month and then start the cycle over again for a total of 6 months.

Im not sure of the herx reactions with this Interfase, Oil of Oregano and Wormwood. I always herxed on the Borrelia series so I guess my big question is, How should I start this regimen? what would you start first and slowly introduce? I am terrified of a major herx that will take me down, I have way too many irons in the fire right now!

Thanks for any insight guys.

It's difficult to actually say what item you might herx on first and foremost.

From experience I know that both the oil of Oregano and Wormwood will definitely have you herxing. So start them off slowly -- at a lower dose.

I guess the bigger question isn't what will cause the herx so much as what will help the herx pass as quickly as possible?

For that, do some reading up on binders, if you aren't already familarized and taking them. They can make a significant difference.

Some of my favorites are Activated Charcoal, Alka seltzer Gold, and pizza.

Seriously, sometimes there is no true way around the herx. But if it gets to be unbearable, then back off a bit until you can ramp back up.

Good luck!

P.S.

If you are really concerned that you do have too many irons in the fire, then perhaps you should consider contacting your llmd and telling him so.

Explain that you would prefer to ramp up slowly since you've been out of the loop of treatment for a while now and are concerned.

He shouldn't have a problem with supporting that and should be willing to give you a more scaled down plan until you have gotten the first phase of treatment behind you.

Thanks Robbiem,

Im not sure what binders are, is this different than detoxing?

Im thinking maybe I will start with the Borrelia Series for a month and then start the herbal regimen the next month. Any opinions out there as far as differences in the source of the herbs. I have tablets and capsule, both from good sources but Ive seen ppl on here referencing liquid forms.

I know I have lyme symptoms but my main concern here lately seem to be more babesia related, vertigo spins, headaches, veins swelling in my hands. Are there any herbs that will target these symptoms?
