I would like to try this to counter mildew until I'm able to move to new location. Does anyone know how to do this? I found a less expensive source, but the guy from the company didn't have info about how.

- I'm not sure you CAN diffuse any powder. A diffuser works on "fumes" really, from an essential oil.
You can take the Propolis powder as a supplement, though. If if happens to have a notable aroma, you might just simmer a little on the stove top.
I would not put it into a diffuser if there is any mechanism that can get clogged up. -
