well after a few very disturbing nights im asking myself why i have these dreaming sensations every night. i dream a lot, 99% isn't violent.. the dreams have to do with my friends or family.. sometimes they are just freaky like walking on the moon or something like that.
at the beginning that was quite funny but i feel that i cant get enough rest because of the dreams.
so... i would like to know which ppl here have these intense dreams too (not violent dreams) and which infection u have?! how did u get rid off them?

I got thru periods of vivid dreams and can't tell you how to turn them off. I will say I make a point to remember dreams and then go to an online dream dictionary such as dream moods and often figure out what the dream is telling me.

Drugs cause vivid dreams. I just ignore them.

Hi Daniel,
Some drugs can cause vivid dreams. One that did for me was Singulair.
Extremely vivid dreams for me were caused by babesia. Once that got under control, so did the dreams.

dreams happen mostly during REM sleep - I spent several years going to the "sleep center" - I slept 1-2hrs a night for many years, and did not dream much. The docs were worried about my long term health (I do not have lyme - a ladyfriend does). Once I learned to sleep better, I started having vivid dreams, and now welcome them. Tell yourself to have a particular dream, and see if you can go there - it is called "Lucid Dreaming" and is quite nice. Sleep apnea can also cause vivid dreams, so you might want to get checked out (or have someone watch you some night) to make sure you are not stopping your normal breathing.

what else do you notice with Apnea???They thought I was border line , until , Pulm. doc put me on long Term ABX.
Those issues would go away on Zith and or Doxy... That lasted for a while ..
Went undiagnosed long time and changed Ins. so that and the steroid shots have made it harder to control...Better lately.. .Also dreams were very vivid and very short spurts of sleep.
At first not nice dreams,, then for a while little or not remember dreams. lately nice dreams ,but weird cause it's future decent things happening with people who are gone.
Been trying to sleep with Audio Scripture going on /with ear plug's.....I know computer that close all night/day....
But hoping I'll learn something and have sweeter dreams...

I get the vivid dreams with LDN. Most of the time they are fun or funny, so I don't mind too much. Sometimes I can't figure out if it was a dream or real, then I get confused!

I had a very vivid dream of my two dogs that have passed away came to see me. It was awesome, they left me with a bouquet of purple roses. When I woke up it felt like it really happened. Little did I know I was coming down with Lyme disease. But it was the best dream I ever had.

You know what I find weird and only started when I got sick?
I used to be able to recall my dreams very easily. Now I can't...until I lay down to go to sleep the next night.
I wake up and try to remember what I dreamed all day long and it won't come to me at all. But THE SECOND I lay my head down at night to sleep again, BAM! Within seconds it pops into my head ( what I dreamed the night before ). I can only recall my dreams if I'm back in bed, at night, in the dark, and ready to fall asleep again.

If you don't like the vivid dreams, try taking B Complex and at LEAST 300 mg of B 1 before bed.
Illness and medicines and drugs all use up B vitamins.
Night sweats, however, can be a result of Babesia--not fixed by B vitamins alone!

LOVE your dream, RC1!
Has anyone noticed if you they are still able to visualize things (I can't anymore). I am pretty sure it's somehow lyme or one if it's friends preventing this in me.

I love your dream too rc1. Some might, call it a visitation.
I have had periods of wild dreams my whole life in times of stress, when I started abx for Lyme.... Dreams went away, ( had a funny hallucination of sorts that I heard a hoard of angry occupy protestestors on the bottom of our sleep when I woke. Turned out it was the fan that made think of that.
But a while ago I was pulsing flagyl and I am dreaming again, but I also have headaches, muscle pain, and hot flashes and chills all came back with the dreams.

If you tend to get "hyper" from B vitamins, take the B Complex earlier in the day and the B 1 right before bed.

I had a brief few weeks where my belly suddenly became firm and I started breathing much better. At the same time I dreamt like never before. I think it was my body recovering lost ground. Now I am back at where I was. All bloated up again and no easy breathing, only small dreams that are not at all as good.

I have had periods where I get intense, vivid dreams. Personally, it felt healthy to me. I felt like my brain was being very active, and the fact that I could remember them upon waking also gave me confidence.
Having crazy dreams doesn't make me feel crazy. I could be dead wrong, but it just felt ok to me. My brain has been steadily improving, with minor setbacks eher and there, so maybe there is something to that.
