I also had the same results with an ultra sound of the abdomen after an acute pain attack.
I have really bad ovarian cysts and they said it could have been from one of them bursting but they could not say for sure of course.

RZR, it sounds like you should get another opinion from either a GI dr or an orthopedist or something. Sounds like start with a GI. It doesn't sound like your PCP knows enough to intelligently dx.
I hate this stuff! I hope you get a real dx. The pain sounds really concerning, not to mention the "fluid." There's not supposed to be unidentified fluid in the abdomen.

I had that when one of my ovarian cysts burst.
Showed up on the CT and ultrasound - very painful.

I hate it when CT readers say "tiny". I mean how tiny is tiny?! As far as physiologic, it just means "as a result of a normally functioning body" (as opposed to 'pathologic')
