Was just thinking about May day and how everyone marches in front of the White House or wherever and nothing gets done, the day is forgotten.
What would happen if 1000 or more sick Lyme patients all showed up at Hopkins ER at the same time demanding treatment.
Would we all be referred to Psychiatry ? Or would they be forced to look deeper and help us so we don't Herx to death ?
My thought for the day.............

They would tell us to drop dead and call the local authorities. Mass intake on the psychiatry ward for sure. You can't get respect out of someone who has none for these invisible illnesses.

They would probably ship us to a secluded island with no boat far, far away!!!
Although, maybe thats not a bad thing, we could all use a vacation. And with 1,000 of us in the same place; maybe we could find a better way to get well!!!

ER's can't turn patients away by law.
I know this idea is far out there, but no way anyone would be arrested or sent to an island.

HA! You got me laughing right off the bat! That would be funny... and fun too!
They go in a panic with ONE patient, they'd have a cow if 1,000 showed up! It would certainly make the evening news!
Headlines...
"Ho Ho Hopkins shuts down hospital when all of their mistakes come marching through the door."

Funny thing is last time I was in the Er, I told them I had Babs...
Dr. and staff didn't acknowledge the infection.
Yet they all came in my ER room wearing masks. I asked why the masks and was told precautionary. Was told I was on isolation while there. Then they D/C'd me from the ER back into the general public to infect everyone else as no one told me to wear a mask.
If I could 20 people or even 10, I'd say, lets all go together, and I'm dead Serious !!
