Seems like you're going to need some Lyme treatment - can you arrange for that? I understand many Canadians come to the US to see a Lyme doctor here.

Are these all symptoms of lyme ? Is this cause for concern , should I go to the hospital is this pressure doing damage to my brain? I get feeling very dssoriented and weak and detached from self and have strange obsessive thoughts and feel like I could pass out. My brain feels like it is not sending the right messages. The messages seem all mixed up and random and some don't make sence. Also feel like I am in a trance like state are these all symptoms of lyme?

Feel like sometimes having an out of body experience. Could this possibly be lyme? FEels also like brain and body aren't connected and have trouble making my hands do what I want like fine motor control problems. Could this all be from lyme. I am starting testing on monday. Could any of these symptoms be from co infections? And if so which ones. Also can't feel my skin properly or feel sensation properly. What the heck is going on? Is any of this normal for lyme?

Some people here describe "depersonalization" which might be what you are experiencing. Maybe do a search for that. Hope someone can help you.

When I had sore neck/shoulders and headache it was due to very, low-grade brain swelling due to all the infections. I had this just last night.
I couldn't think straight, was completely wiped out and felt like I was going to die any second.
I've had it before, more often prior to starting treatment. I did notice that Ibuprofen helped lower the swelling/headaches/shoulder and neck pain.
Also, I think Lymetoo or someone on another thread stated that many of us with anxiety and neuro symptoms due to Lyme and co, also take medications to help with those symptoms.
I have to still take Klonopin to help with anxiety and an anti-depressant.
Even though the root cause of all my symptoms is infection, I still have to treat the anxiety and depression symptoms appropriately, until the infections are taken care of. That could be quite some time, since this is definitely a marathon, not a sprint.
So, remember to mention to your LLMD or other Dr that you are having a lot of intense anxiety symptoms and need some relief.
Hang in there!

So I take it even though these symptoms are very strange they could be caused by lyme? Has anyone else felt their brain was totally messed up from lyme with wierd thoughts and sensations and perceptions being off. It is really scarry and sometimes it doesn't feel like my hands and feet are connected to my body and I get this overwhelming feeling that nothing is right around me. I get feeling very disconnected and disoriented and out of my own body could this possibly be lyme? As anyone else with lyme experienced these sensations? Can depression be common with lyme too?

I think even though I feel disconnected from self most of the time it is anxiety as well is anxiety common with lyme? Also is obsessive fearful thinking common. I just feel like my brain has been taken over and I can't think like I normally used to , is this common?

Also has anyone with lyme ever felt like they were disconnected enough that at times they didn't know what they were saying or doing ? I guess this is a form of depersonalization. They say depersonalization is like a disconnedt from self almost like an out of body experience. So depersonalization is normal ? I feel my thoughts are very disorganized too with confusion and can't think logically as if thoughts armt automatic or concise is this what brain fog is? Is brainfog normal for lyme?

Maya, these can all be symptoms of neuro lyme. Of course other things can cause these symptoms too but plenty of people here have experienced all of what you've mentioned and got better with proper lyme treatment.

Lyme and co-infections can cause severe anxiety which can cause depersonalization/derealization (which is what you are describing).
Since it will take time for the lyme treatment to kick in, you have to take care of both.
If you are experiencing a high level of distress from the anxiety, get that treated too.
Also look up: depersonalization and derealization. They are 2 very scary sensations...but you are not crazy. Crazy people don't realize that thing's seem weird.
Anxiety medication can help immensely in the short-term.

I totally understand what you are describing. It can feel scary and what i call "ungrounding".
What I've come to in my own situation is that learning to relax as deeply as possible throughout the day is a priority.
If you can learn some basic relaxation exercises or meditation, this can be very helpful, no matter what protocol you choose for the neurological symptoms.
I love to listen to Adyashanti's guided meditations, but we each have our own preferences. If you need ideas or links, just e mail me privately. I know of several different guided meditations that are simple and calming.
Something simple with no music is what helps me.
Then, from this place of feeling more peaceful, one is able to make decisions more clearly.
I certainly know the feeling of trying to make decisions from a place of complete overwhelm and panic.
Also, are you on your own? Do you have a friend who can be with you if the dizziness or "out there" feelings get too much? Someone who has calm and quiet energy?
On an herbal level, stephania is helpful for brain inflammation. I take it in either capsule or tincture form. Woodland essence sells the tincture. You can put a few drops in a little hot water to start, let it sit for a while, then drink.
The stephania is recommended in the Buhner protocol. Specific for the symptoms you describe.
Sending thoughts of peace and calm.

Just wondering too if you can have all the symptoms like anxiety confusion brain fog depersonalization and derealization etc and also severe head pressure with Lyme but have no fevers? Do you always have to have fevers or can you have severe chronic lyme with all these symptoms but no fevers? I actually have chronically low body temp. I have also been diagnosed with b12 deficiency, iron and vitamin d deficiency are any of these signs of Lyme or co infections?

If you are severly sick from Lyme can you recover and get back to normal with the right treatment? Do most get this sick with chronic Lyme?

Chronic low body temperature is a symptom of lyme also. I don't think you would necessarily have the fever, but it may flare at times. In our case, over a year of low temps, until a bad flare a month ago. Vitamin deficiencies can occur too.
They say having more neuro/emotional/anxiety symptoms can be bartonella, a coinfection of lyme.
Hope you will get some medical attention from a LLMD soon.

I am going to see an nd tomorrow to start testing and have my name on a wait list for an llmd ? Has anyone else felt this way day after day for almost 2 years. I never feel normal but feel haunted by my own symptoms and can't think strait. I hate this and wonder if I have just been too sick like this for too long that it will never go away. I just can't ever get my mind to shut down or feel normal. I also have balance probs and coordination probs. do all these symptoms sound like Lyme?

Yep to about everything you're asking about Lyme and the symptoms it causes. The good news is, you will have the chance to feel better once treatment starts.
You can also go to www.canlyme.com and meet other Canadians with Lyme -

Yes, I had the same thing happen to me when I first got lyme. Actually, I am not sure if the head pressure is from the lyme or the babesia microti but I tested positive for both in 12/08.
The horrible head pressure/fullness in my head made my head feel like it would explode. In fact, before I found out I had lyme/babs I was sure that I had hydrocephalus because it felt like my head was so full, but after 4 lumbar punctures, two different hospitalizations that lasted a week, numerous MRI's and atleast 5 different Neurologists whom said I did not have hydrocephalus I finally started looking for other things that might explain the feeling.
That's when I started researching other things and found information on lyme.
I understand your fear and the discomfort you are in because I will never forget how uncomfortable and scary the head pressure was for me.
I remember at times that I thought I was going to die because I had so much pressure in my head and I also remember that lumbar punctures seemed at the time to be the only thing that brought me relief, so I would try to set up one in advance by seeing different Neurologists just in case it got unbearable again because I was desperate at the time for relief. by the way I would not recommend this to anyone because I had alot more problems after the 4 lumbar punctures.
Get yourself a good LLMD and get tested for babs, bart, and lyme. Once you get on antibiotics the head pressure will reduce. I still have it, but it's bearable now. I can do almost anything that I did before except jog, but that's because it kills my back now.
One other thing you can do to reduce the swelling on your own is take large amounts of fish oil, and turmeric.
