Just wondering who else has SUPER low blood pressure. Mine is consistantly around 90/60. I have Lyme and Babesia.
I realize Babesia does cause low blood pressure. I'm sleepy alot and sometimes dizzy. Any suggestions?

Well, normal for me was always 110/72. Lately it has consistantly been 90/60. My primary care doc (who admits she knows NOTHING about Lyme) says my blood pressure is amazing and I should feel lucky to have it. No thank you!!!!

tiffagoo, I agree with your doctor; as long as it doesnt keep dropping.
It might be because of Lyme & Co's but, it could also be because of your treatment; better diet and alternative meds etc. Keep an eye on it!

When low BP is accompanied by SYMPTOMS of low BP, then it is too low.
Perhaps not dangerous, but you will FEEL it for sure. Stay hydrated!!

My daughter has the same BP and recently found out that after being off abx for over a year, her liver and kidneys are still full of toxins. It's important to do dilligent detox during and after abx.

Ok this is where I get a little confused. What is the BEST detox for the liver and kidneys. I have not done one yet and would like to. I am considering doing castor oil packets for my liver?

There are supplements that support the liver and kidneys as well. He perscribed some for her but she is in another province from me and I haven't found out which ones yet.
I have amended my comment about sauna therapy. I believe it should only be used once BP has stabilized.

I wouldn't do sauna therapy if one is constipated or if the elimination channels are still backed up.
Sauna will move toxins out of the tissue and if the liver is already impaired you're asking for trouble.
I too have low bp and it seems to have come on after starting Babesia treatment (also crushing fatigue, dizzy, etc)
All of my symptoms improve once I have 1-2 BMs that day. I think babesia die off causes major toxin overload.

Low BP can also be from> Severe inflammation of organs.
Eat a diet higher in salt.
Decrease your intake of caffeine.
Drink lots of nonalcoholic fluids -- a minimum of eight glasses per day. Sports drinks that are high in sodium and potassium are recommended, especially during exercise or in hot weather.
Drink more fluids during hot weather and while sick with a viral illness, such as a cold or the flu.
Have your doctor evaluate your prescription and over-the-counter medications to identify any that may be causing your symptoms.
Get regular exercise to promote blood flow.
Be careful when rising from lying down or sitting. To improve circulation, pump your feet and ankles a few times before standing up. Then proceed slowly. When getting out of bed, sit upright on the edge of the bed for a few minutes before standing.
Elevate the head of your bed at night by placing bricks or blocks under the head of bed.
Avoid heavy lifting.
Avoid straining while on the toilet.
Avoid prolonged exposure to hot water, such as hot showers and spas. If you get dizzy, sit down. It may be helpful to keep a chair or stool in the shower in case you need to sit; to help prevent injury, use a nonslip chair or stool designed for use in showers and bath tubs.
To avoid problems with low blood pressure and lessen episodes of dizziness after meals, try eating smaller, more frequent meals. Rest after eating. Avoid taking drugs to lower blood pressure before meals. If needed, use elastic support (compression) stockings that cover the calf and thigh. These may help restrict blood flow to the legs, thus keeping more blood in the upper body.

Thanks for all the advice I really appreciate it......
As far as a infrared sauna. Do you actually own one. We have looked into one, but they are so damn expensive. And this disease is draining us financially.

They are expensive.. and should be used on case by case basis. The most inexpensive I have found is $575. I amended my comment because BP can drop and cause a dangerous situation.
I believe using supportive herbs like Dandelion Root, Beetroot, Burdock Root, and Cranberry would be better to start detoxing the liver. Fresh Ginger Tea with turmeric would also help. This is what we used to lower enzymes and should have continued with it.

I've been around 90/60 a lot, and my doc says it is a sign of adrenal fatigue, adrenal not functioning well enough.

Lyme too is right on. When I was in the hospital, the docs couldn't figure out why my bp kept dropping. I drank more water and it went back up.

I guess there are just too many variables to low bp. Are you getting enough salt Michael (iodine test)?

My BP always ran around 110/80. Before I started IV ANTIBIOTIc therapy for lyme disease, it was bottoming out at 90/60, and I felt weak, dizzy, ill....... My BP has been 110/80 consistently for the last 7 0r 8 MONTHS of treatment. Hopefully, yours will level out as you heal as mine did.......

I think it's a combination of Bart, Babs, and parasites that really damage our liver.
Unfortunately the only way out might be... kill them all, flush the liver, cleanse the colon. Rinse repeat.
manybites, Any experience with liver flushes?

Had low bp when before realizing I needed iodine, and then while heavily supplementing iodine with Iodoral, and still low bp when not using iodine, as energy testing indicates I don't need it anymore. I enjoy sea salt and eat as much of it as my pendulum says is okay.

When I was at my worst mine was 70/30. Very scarey. Mine is now 90/60.
More salt and fluids. Maybe electrolytes but powder, not gatorade as it has too much sugar and artificial dyes.
