I'm not herxing today like other days. But I still feel the bugs, some pain, headaches and cold feet & hands. But no more chest pain, Thank God for that.

My big question is; Would you ask to add something, to bring on a herx? Do you have to herx to kill bugs & reach remission?

Is it possible my protocol is off?
Not questioning My LLMD, just why do I feel so good and don't herx to much anymore?

Any thoughts? [bonk]

You feel good because your meds are working.

As long as you are continuing to feel better, then things are fine.

When you report how you are feeling to the doc, they will decide if it is time to change the meds.

If you are no longer making any progress (called a plateau), then the doctor will often changes the meds. But, as long as you are making steady progress, you are likely to stay on the same medication combo for months.

You don't have to herx to get rid of these diseases, but most people have a herx each time they start new medicines. That is the most common time to have a herx--each time the meds are changed. That is because the new meds have a new killing profile, and so many, many germs are killed when the new meds are first introduced.

If your body can detoxify, then you will likely not have much herxing after the initial herx.

So, be happy. It sounds like you are doing well.

Now with all the reading I've been doing, for the life of me I'd of never figured that out.

Thanks TF. You are a God send.. [bow]

One more question;

I've read somewhere that the mepron should be taken seperate from other ABX, is that the same with the cefdinir & zithromax, or is that just with the cycline family?

I only improved on Mepron/Zith and Ceftin, so you may be one of the luck ones too. You can get better without herxing.

Mepron needs to be taken away from the cyclines, but the other drugs, zith and cefdinir, are fine to take with Mepron.

Thats good to know.. BTW, I was on ceftin and then ceftin & zithro for months before seeing this LLMD.

So I think they changed up so the bugs don't build up a antibiotics resistance to ceftin..

I could be wrong. So if I am, someone let me know...
