The tip of my nail looks like it is lifting. The white portion looks uneven and like it is going farther back than normal.....if that makes sense.
This started with both my pinky nails. Now, one of my ring ringers is also affected.
Is this yeast? If so, diflucan does not help at all because I have been taking it, on and off, throughout treatment.
Please help.

Onycholysis is a common nail disorder. It is the loosening or separation of a fingernail or toenail from its nail bed. It usually starts at the tip of the nail and progresses back.
People taking strong medications like tetracycline, minocycline, or naproxen can develop a high sensitivity to sunlight and actually develop sunburn under the nails, which can also cause onycholysis.

This is exactly what my nails are doing. I think it is caused by yeast.

Do you have it on your toenails too? Could be caused by Trichophyton (a fungus).

My nails have gotten funky horizontal ridges. What does that mean?

Horizontal ridges usually mean that your body has been through a period of significant stress (example you were very ill with Lyme...).
This is what my dermatologist told me when I asked her about the ridges. She said that your nails can stop growing also when you are very sick.
