Might want to see this doctor referral "advertising" that let's folks know up front who will NOT treat them with antibiotics for a serious and long standing bacterial infection... and my ever so blunt introduction, of course.

[Big Grin]

```````````````````````````````````````````
Save your money- save your life! KNOW in advance who will NOT treat you with antibiotics for chronic Lyme disease! Know who will not give YOU, the patient, any choices or treatment options when it comes to YOUR health.
Know who has no interest in treating patients who fail to be cured after receiving the insurance friendly, short-term antibiotic treatment recommended in the flawed, biased, conflicted, improperly reviewed and totally outdated 2006 IDSA guidelines.
Quote from the American Lyme Disease Foundation (ALDF)- sister organization to the Infectious Diseases Society of America and 2nd home to the IDSA Lyme disease guideline authors and their "buds":
"None of these organizations or expert panels, as well as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) or the National Institutes of Health (NIH) recommends extended antibiotic therapy for the treatment of a condition known as chronic Lyme disease.
Now you KNOW!
A good place to alert those who are new to lyme:
Think "A" (Association) for top score - LDA
and "F" (Foundation) for failure - ALDF
The ALDF - American Lyme Disease FOUNDATION is NOT the advocacy group a newcomer might think, just the opposite.
ALDF is connected to the IDSA. Not what we need. Their "information" (that is so wrong) can destroy lives of those with lyme & TBD (tick-borne disease).
------------------------- However . . .
http://www.lymediseaseassociation.org/
The LDA - Lyme Disease ASSOCIATION - IS a the best, though. They are want we want.
The LDA is ILADS-educated. This is good.
And there are also other top-notch lyme groups:
Turn the Corner Foundation;
LymeDisease.org;
Time for Lyme - are among those.
