On antibiotics, I feel like I'm gonna collapse and die.

Off of antibiotics, I feel like I'm slowly dying.

I'm now on Cholestyramine for Biotoxin issues...and I feel like I'm gonna die.

I can't detox the bugs or the toxins or the med to detox the toxins.

I might as well take the money I'm spending on treatment and go to the beach to slowly die in a brain fog filled haze.

Thanks pme. I do have support. My husband and 2 yr old are both in treatment too. All 3 of us herxing, in some form or another, all at once.

I know there are people much worse off. Some people have no arms, legs, cannot see or hear all at the same time. Even so, this still sucks.

So you're having a bad day, and the wrong end of the 'Fight or Flight' instinct has kicked in, hasn't it? [group hug]

We'll let you wallow for a little while, but your pity party can't last more than a little while, ok? We've all been there, and on more than one occasion, wonderful folks from this board have talked me off the ledge.

My best advice to you is:

1. Make a list of what specific things make you feel like you want to die. Does your back hurt? Your head? Bones ache? Stomach a mess? Brainfog so thick you can't leave the house? Go ahead - list them

2. Make a list of specific things that affect the quality of your daily life. This may be the same list as above or not

3. Bring this list to your LLMD and say 'What can we do about these things so that my quality of life improves'? If your issues are pain, you need to be able to figure out what type of pain. Is it inflammation? Is it from yeast (how's your diet? Could pain or brain fog be from eating gluten/wheat/sugar?) Is it nerve pain?

4. You're on Cholestyramine - so you must be a big toxic heap. Are there things you could do to help yourself detox?

Such as go to someplace that has a FIR Sauna, or use a rebounder, flush those kidneys with tons of lemon water, give your liver a hand with milk thistle,... There's tons of help here.

I truly do know what you are going through, but being the fixit type of person that I am, when I only had me to rely on, I usually tried to find a logical approach to those awful moments. And sometimes I was able to figure out what was going on - I think that's half the battle.

It might not help you immediately feel better, but gaining a logical understanding of the process and feeling you're doing everything possible to help yourself may give you the sense of control you need to get through the awful moments.

We're all here to help. So please don't jump, ok?? [group hug]

Be aware that cholestyramine can case a TERRIBLE cytokine inflammatory response!!! I could not take it at all!! It was horrible! You might feel better and more hopeful simply by stopping the cholestyramine and trying something else for detox. I am well today and couldn't use cholestyramine, so it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work for you.

I used to dream about quitting and running away...... but in the end it was a choice between, treat and feel horrible, or not treat and feel horrible. What kind of choice is that? Stinks either way. [Frown]

I'll move this to general support.
