I know they use FIR saunas for autistic children since they don't detox well. But I don't know about kids with lyme.

A doc specializing in environmental medicine told us this. Is there a doctor like this who you could consult?
I have not done a lot of research on it myself.
Just googled fir saunas and kids with lyme and fir saunas kids with autism. Quite a few links came up.
Maybe some parents who have used it will come along and give some advice.
Hope this helps!

There is no way I'd put a kid into a sauna without a doctor's recommendation. Hot tubs come with a warning for kids for good reason.
Much better to walk 30 minutes every day and/or get on a trampoline. That's what I've had 3 different doctors tell me.
If you want to see how/if he detoxes through his skin, try skin brushing.
I'm sure by now you've eliminated all artificial coloring and additives to the extent you can. Good to have him shower every day too.
Have you eliminated emf in his bedroom?

My LLMD told me that children detox well on their own. However, I give my daughter Epsom salt/ Baking Soda baths. And she has been doing wonderfully!!!!

Thanks guys.
Ye, I am trying to have him work up a sweat everyday. With the warm weather here, that's getting easier.
I do rotate baths. Clay, Epson salt-Baking soda, Plain. I need to get more baking soda. It seems to have helped his tummy rash. That hasn't resurfaced in a couple of weeks.
Still on the lookout though.
