Has anyone here tried it? I have had three docs tell me I should try it and that I would benefit from it? However I am scared because I have all these medical problems....and NO doctor can diagnose it....first its Lyme..then FL1953...Then um...no one knows! Frustrating because I just want to FEEL better more than anything. Hoping that weight loss will help increase energy and such. Thanks,

See if your Library carries the HCG diet book by Kevin Trudeau...he breaks it down and makes it pretty easy to follow...
Go for the Homeopathic drops...they are designed to trigger your body to produce the hormone naturally...
My husband did really well on the diet...and I am going to be starting it here soon...
I also suggest getting yourself started on the foods before you start the drops...Get used to the diet...learn to cook the foods that you are allowed to have...and decided what you like/dislike...
Like you can have Fennel and Anise - YUCK...I tried to make it work...but ya just cant get rid of the black licorice flavor...
Anyway...if you start yourself on the diet first...and slowly drop your caloric intake...because the diet sets your limit at 500 calories per day...
This is to reset your hypothalmus...and it does work really well...
But for my hubby - who is 6'2 - large framed...that was not enough to sustain him in a healthy way...so we cut him down to 900-1000 calories...
The foods you eat are ones that burn fat...same with the teas...Supplements are also going to be important...
He Felt great on the diet too...he doesn't have Lyme...but he was over 300lbs and we were living at over 8000ft...so work became much easier for him...
Hope this helps
Christine

I was at SuperSupplements and three of their employees were emphatic that hcg works. They told me about a guy who lost 300 pounds. They said that the homeopathic preparations do not work, just the drops that actually contain hcg. Here is what they recommended: http://www.supersup.com/right-way-nutrition-hcg-platinum-1-fl-oz-liquid-654367317662
They said that the products that contain hcg will be taken off the market by the FDA but that they are allowed to sell what they have.
I got a bottle which would take me through one round of the protocol which should be all I need to do since I only need to lose 15-20 lyme pounds. At first I was wondering whether I should deal with dieting before being totally well but now I am leaning towards that a leaner body means less for my immune system and metabolism to deal with.
You should be able to find "Pounds & Inches" by A.T.W. Simeons online for free. He created the protocol. There is an hcgdieters Yahoo group that has it.

Do you recommend doing this program through a clinic with a dr. monitoring for the price? Or ordering it yourself...do you trust online sites to order the real thing?

Will the hcg drops work without sticking to a strict 500 calorie diet? There is no way I can live on 500 calories a day!
