I will be starting tindamax soon and I'm already feeling really badly from some other ABX that I just started last week.

For example, food is sickening to me for most of the day. I don't get sick from eating it, I just get sick thinking about eating it and have no desire to. I already was losing too much weight eating a ton of food each day, so this might be a problem if it doesn't improve soon.

I'm also getting a ton of muscle twitching and jerks in one of my arms. This along with a ton of other symptoms that are pretty bad especially weakness and inability to sleep more than 4 hours per night for the past several months.

What should I expect when I start Tindamax? I have never taken this or Flagyl before.

Thanks!

Hi Summer3
Tinidazole is what I have taken I think it is the same as tindamax.

The only thing is the terrible taste in the mouth.A lot like the biaxin taste.

It kept me out of the hospital last fall, very good drug.

Three of us on tindamax for over a year. Herxes at first were more like fatigue. I would take it Thursday and Friday and then could sleep on Saturday and would be recovered by Monday work day. First day I wouldn't notice anything, second day some fatigue and 3rd day or 1st day off of it I would be tired. This didn't last too long and now no herx.

I don't notice any taste issues and neither do my boys.

Things are never dull. After 3 fighting Lyme, 2 are in remission. Youngest is still sick, age 22. He has new diagnosed Chiari Malformation and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.
