Well, pretty sure Babs is the Culprit as I've known all along.

Every time I try to get back on Mepron, I can handle less and less. Guess my load goes up and up.

So, start 1/2 tsp 5 days ago. My head is now having Vertigo like stuff, right eye feels swollen, Anxiety out the ying yang, shaking chills then hot, Freezing to the bone, Short of breath, Feel like death...more

Zithromax is at 1/2 250mg tablet (125mg)

Nothing else but Detox right now..

How am I suppose to Kill this stuff ? This is why I feel like I need the complete blood transfusion that didn't happen, YET !

Oh yeah, my right eyeball feels like it's coming out of the socket, but it isn't.

Gary,

Have you ever tried malarone? It has a 2nd ingredient in it besides the mepron. I think some people can tolerate it better.

Bea,

From what I understand, it just has a lower amount of Atavaquone overall, which is the major ingredient needed for the infection.

My only option right now since I don't have Malarone is to hold a dose and perhaps either try and resume or go even lower.

I have seen Dr. S in Florida speak about even a lick of the spoon can get a Herx going with Mepron.

Not sure if this is a sign of Bacterial load or not. This all gets so confusing, although there is no doubt I am Herxing.

This entire mess is INSANE. No one should have to go through this crap.

Even the Salt/c does this to me.

I know many will give me crap, but I wish I could get the blood transfusion. The Dr. who talked about the Transfusion with me originally said he didn't think I had Babs when I couldn't tolerate the Quinine. They can't find it in my Blood Smears despite having Pos. PCR from Igenix and a Pos. IGG from Lab Corp, both for WA1 Duncani.

Make no sense, his thinking. I don't know why it is so hard to find in a smear. Something is def. not right there either. Perhaps the staining method they use it not good for this strain. I honestly don't know and don't understand any of this.

I only know what I'm feeling are NOT side effects of Mepron.

So frustrated if you can't tell..........

You should try Beyond Balance Bab1 or Bab2 depending on which strain you have. It is a much gentler treatment which is very effective.
