I see alot of people on here say that the 4th day on a new antibiotic is usually when the herx sets in. I know these people have research that backs it up. I'm wondering what that research is.
How is it known that the 4th day is typically when a herx is from new med?
I sure think I'm experiencing it. My doc put me on Cefdinir and took me off Doxycycline after being on it since september
The fourth day on it i started feely achey. and my neck is really achey and sore and feels a bit stiff.

oh I thought there was some kind of observation from Dr B that the lyme bacteria starts to get killed around the 4th day of an antibiotic being started.

I also heard a lot depends on where the bugs are in the cycle too. I just recently herxed after 10 days of a new protocol. everyone is different. there is nothing for sure with this disease.

Oh yeah experience from a lot of people who have experienced it firsthand. I've heard of some people even herding after one dose. Me, I'm a 3-4 day hexer
