Can anyone help identify this rash as related to lyme or a co-infection? My son has been getting red dotted lines that look like light scratches under his skin by his armpits and lower back. Hopefully this link below can be seen as a photo of one on his arm.
Thanks for any help and thanks to those who helped me post this photo!

Bartonella? I sometimes get a lot of little tiny red dots and they will be clustered places. You can also get a rash that looks like stretch marks with it. It is kind of hard when you can't see the rash in person. Sorry if that isn't much help!

I used to get rashes like that all the time. Mine I believe went away with Levaquin. Thus, I think they were bart related. There are other bart drugs like rifampin that aren't as hard on you. Rifampin and Zith worked well for me but I needed the Levaquin to really hit is hard. I had a bad case. Good treatment should take care of them.

My son is on mepron, Azith, Alinia, and suprax. He is not being treated for Bart but did take 5 months of Rifampin and Biaxin with no clinical response and the rashes continued. Anyone successfully treat for Bart and have this type of rash? Thanks for any help!

Yes, I did... at least we think so... no more rashes. For me, I had to go on levaquin. Rifampin and zithro I did for many months and it helped a great deal but for me rifampin and levaquin... that was the ticket. I don't know if they like to put kids on Levaquin.... Gosh, how about HH by Dr. Zhang? For me it has taken a combination of things....
