I herxed almost non stop on 100 mg of doxy a day and that was while taking the doxy every other day part of the time.

Hopefully your case is better than mine. I think I may have a mold issue in my home too, which may be contributing to the misery.

Yes!!!!! I was on Doxy and Rifampin for the past 6 weeks and herxed constantly. Even when I was on Doxy alone, I herxed alot. My LLMD said it's because I must have a high bacteria load.

I herxed initially for a few days (horrible headache, no light, felt completely out of it) that was 100mg 2x a day

Had ups and downs for a while then upped to 400mg per day and with each 100mg increase took a while to build up.

Drank lots of water did epsom baths...doxy is very strong.

I was COMPLETELY wiped out for hours after each dose...practically comatose. I was only on 100 mg, 2x/day.

Smilax can also cause a herx, especially if an alcohol tincture. The powdered/capsule form is best, IMO.
