At some point I will be speaking with my doctor soon, but in the meantime I wanted to see if anyone knew...

Do you need to take binders so the metals do not redistribute from the gut, or is EDTA also a binder, and things will get excreted?

Thanks,
Tammy

There are different forms of EDTA.

Taking them on your own without being tested is not something I would do. Please ask your doctor. I know of some unpleasant reactions with certain EDTA and will not comment here. That is for your doctor to say. He/she knows best and you need to avoid further problems/setbacks.

This is not a disease to deal with on your own, especially concering metal toxicity, unless you have the testing tools needed. Don't do it. Do long distance contacts, if needed, or seek help from someone who knows and can test you.

There is no metal treatment that suits everyone. Zeolite has been a loser for many and so has NAC for the wrong person at the wrong time and/or not the right combination and time.

In today's world of EMF/RF, toxic metals are even more difficult to unload. The rules are rapidly changing.

There is a definite order in which things have to be done to avoid setbacks. I know it is difficult, distances, etc., but that is the way we have to look at it to get out well on the other side.

All the best.

I take EDTA suppositories for 3 nights in a row, then 11 days off, and alternate it with a topical chelator, so am only using the suppositories for 3 nights in 28.

I definitely think it is sensible to use binders: I have Biopure's chlorella, a Bentonite clay and herb mix in a capsule and Jarrow's Toxguard heavy Metal Detox.

I am also taking NAC, glycine and liposomal glutathione daily, as I have an 'absent' glutathione gene.

I agree that it is sensible to be under the care of a specialist when dealing with metals.

Yes, appreciate the input. I got the suppositories from Dr. K. But my protocol has been all over the place because there were some things that just didn't work well for me so I needed to stop everything more than once. During my last phone consult with one of his junior physicals, I was told when feeling better, to start.

I will set up another phone consult. But it is just educated guessing without being tested in person. I really need to go out to see the Master himself again soon. Wish I could see him regularly.
