I am wondering if most llmds do heavy metal testing on patients? I think it is urine testing?
Is it worth it to do? Someone told me that everyone comes back positive for it so not to bother.
Does that mean you should just treat it or that the testing tells everyone they have heavy metals and really they don't?

My heavy metals symptoms were more pronouned than my Lyme sypmtoms 4 years ago. I am glad I got tested because it gave me an indication of how toxic I was and with what kind of metals.
I did the DMPS challenge and as my mercury came down (had all 18 amalgams replaced) lead showed up higher than it did orginally. Because of the link between the two issues (lyme and heavy metals) it help my Lyme diagnosis since my WB test was inconclusive.
Since this is a long process for me it was good to get the test and then the treatments (18 infusions so far).
I did the Cutler protocol, bought and read his book but found it hard to stick with. Since I tolerate the DMPS infusions, I stuck with that method and take a lot of chlorella. I have taken a break to do a couple of EDTA IV's and 3 Glutathione IVs but will continue with the DMPS next week. I am close to 30% of where I started.
All the Best, MattH
